While Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director-WeSchool was felicitated with the ‘Best Teacher Award’ under the special category of ‘Global Leadership’, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Pendse was given an award for the’ Best Teacher In IT Management’ by the Higher Education Forum on Teachers’ Day. This award was sponsored by Zensar in recognition of Prof Pendse’s pioneering effort in designing curricula, teaching and thought leadership in the areas related to Managing IT such as e-Business, Business Analysis, IT Project Leadership.
These awards are instituted by Higher Education Forum, a trust actively engaged in capacity building initiatives in terms of faculty development programs ,organizing seminars/workshops on a number of issues of relevance. The celebration of Teachers’ Day is one of the important initiatives of the Forum, to show appreciation and gratitude to some of the respected teachers who have done pioneering work in the field of education and research.
