Event Description
IMPACT , is a prestigious inter-institute Cricket Tournament. This year, the 31st edition of IMPACT took place from 14th March to 27th March 2024, promoting teamwork and individual growth. It bridges classroom learning with practical application for management insights. The inauguration was done by respected Group Director Sir. The fourteen-day event served as a platform for students as a strong sync between management and the team ensures collective success, promoting healthy competition for enhanced efficiency. Venue Matunga Gymkhana , Dadar Union and DPZ The tournament was among top 10 colleges, ensuring a truly inclusive competition.
This year, the Womens Cricket Tournament was introduced during Runbhoomi, intra-college sports competition. Eleven teams competed, with the top 60 players participating in the first WCT AUCTIONS. Four main teams emerged, culminating in Team Queen Strikers winning the trophy. Additionally, a friendly match was held among female faculty and staff. The IMPACT team played a crucial role in organizing the event. Team IMPACT strategically designated a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IMPACT events and all Matches. These SPOCs acted as communication bridges , ensuring efficient registration across all 13 sporting categories. Following the registration phase, these SPOCs played a vital role in finalizing the event schedule through a designated drawing process and ensuring the availability of contestants at a particular time.
