Programming Hub’s journey to Google Launchpad and beyond …

Programming Hub, Co-founded by Tito Aby Idicula ,  alumnus WeSchool  and  team to be mentored and funded by Google!

Programming Hub™ is the fastest growing mobile edu-tec initiative which is a one-stop solution for learning a variety of popular programming languages. Within a short span of 7 months, programming hub has become the most widely used learning app in the US and Indian markets.

Mission Teach programming languages to anyone, anywhere, anytime and nurture their skills to assist them with employment options. Programming Hub has been rated high on Google play store with over 2.3 Million downloads and now expanding its reach to iOS, web and other platforms such as wearable devices. Programming hub already spans across 210+ countries, and caters to over 600,000+ active monthly users.

The initiative is backed by a team of talented entrepreneurs who have expertise across different fields, but share common interests in learning, experimenting and performing. It has the guidance of a very strong and knowledgeable board of advisors which includes business experts and creators of programming languages. On a daily basis, the team works hard and is committed to provide new updates and features to its users.

Programming hub has a small, committed team, where everyone’s contribution really makes a difference to the success of the business. We can see our impact day in and day out. Leaving a stable job is long on risk and hardship. Our team members love the rush, the risk, the impact that they make. “Our biggest asset is the diversity in our team. Each possesses unique skills which complements that of the other. Unlike other startups, we don’t believe in hire and fire. Our motto is ‘One for All, All for One’ and this spirit binds each member in the team together to perform exceptionally better.” – says the Co-founders.

Where it all began for Programming Hub It’s pretty important to know where you’re headed as a business, but it’s equally important to remember where you came from, and what it was that got you into this position in the first place.

A problem that needed to be fixed It all started when the founders of Programming Hub were already working with renowned companies – got stuck up with problems while coding and could not find the solution in books, it was difficult for them to go through umpteen number of books/websites in a short span of time. That was when the “idea” germinated in their minds which solved not just their problem but is also helping “n” number of people facing the same issues in their life.

Problems faced by beginners Difficult to understand programming, Learning programing is monotonous and time consuming

Problems faced by professionals Little time to learn and work, Learning new programing language

Problems faced by teachers and institutions Conventional methods are found difficult to teach programing, Have to prepare reference and codes for students

This gave birth to Programming Hub– A Perfect app that makes programming life so much easier!

Belief that hard work and a great idea are required ingredients for success, but that those two elements alone are not enough for a startup to become a success. You also have to be a jack-of-all-trades. Hard work is essential, but working smart accomplishes more. You need to be hardworking and be bold to execute the ideas with accuracy and speed. At times, you need to be a superman and not just hardworking. To deliver not just results but success.

At startups, resources are limited so everyone has to wear multiple hats. One minute you’re meeting with a very well respected venture capital investor and the next minute you have to clean the dishes in the sink. You can’t hide behind your job title.

11th May 2016 marks another milestone in Programming Hub’s journey – being selected into the Google Launchpad Accelerator program.
