The International Conference on “Future of Work, Workforce and Workplace”

The International Conference on “Future of Work, Workforce and Workplace” was an initiative of S.P. Mandali’s WeSchool supported by AICTE scheduled on 13th-14th January, 2020 was held at WeSchool, Mumbai.
The conference envisioned to offer an excellent opportunity for researchers, academicians, scholars, practicing Managers and Business & Industry leaders from across the world to interact, share their thoughts, experiences and present their ideas on the chosen theme. The conference also envisaged as a platform for the industry to showcase their ongoing research and development initiatives, related to the conference theme.
It was a forum for sharing, exchanging views and knowledge on the challenges and opportunities that have arisen/will arise in the context of fast-paced Technological Innovation.
Video Speech by Charles H. Kellstadt Chair in Marketing Dr. Jagdish N. Sheth Emory University, USA Goizueta Business School highlighted how the future will see personal and professional life merge. That will be the new normal.
Dr. Dileep Malkhede, Adviser-I, Research, Institution & Faculty Development, AICTE & Hon’ble Shri. Dilip Walse-Patil,Hon’ble MoS Excise & Labour Department, Govt. Maharashtra, S.P. Mandali leadership and Prof. Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool spoke on how workplace and job roles would shape in future.
The conference encompassed the widest footprint, including AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, VR, IOT and Cognitive Computing. The deliberations would, focusssed on the leading trends of more and more number of jobs becoming vulnerable- fueled by the above Automation platforms. Deliberations on the rise of Big Data, Digitalization & explosion in contingent workforce would also be engaged with.
