A director, music composer and cinematographer in his own right, Nikhil Allug, WeSchool Alumnus is passionately busy doing what he loves. And that is ‘films’. By qualification, he completed his studies in Marketing PGDM from WeSchool, Mumbai. Today, he runs his own production house banner in Mumbai named Moment of Revival Films (MOR Films).

His work has been appreciated and screened at Kerala International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.  Some of his interesting works are documentary -‘The One Winged Butterfly’; short film – ‘Nothingness’;  ‘Dead Inside’; ‘The Waiting Room’; ‘Asharfi’, and ‘Sawaalon Ki Duniya’ (A World of Questions).

His short film ‘ Nothingness’ was screened at Cannes (France) in 2011. His documentary on Rubina Ali Qureshi the SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE child star titled “The one-winged Butterfly” got noticed by Frames Film Festival and was awarded “Best film in 2011”

In 2016,  short-film by  Nikhil under title ‘Mud Mud Ke Na Dehk’ (Don’t Look Back) was officially selected to compete at the Crimson Screen Horror Festival (South Carolina, USA). His Hindi Feature Film Shehjar (Shade) is a Finalist at Phoenix Film Festival Melbourne 2018.

Nikhil defines filmmaking in his own words saying, “A film is never made by talking about it, writing it, dreaming it, thinking it, discussing it, claiming it or planning it. The only way to make a film is to make it.”
