WeSchool wins prestigious IMC Digital Technology Award 2020 for digital transformation
18 June 2021, Mumbai: S.P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool) is the proud recipient of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IMC) bestowed (IMC) Digital Technology Awards 2020 in category – large sector of the best project within the end user company – education. The B-School has won the accolade for its’ project ‘Digital Transformation at WeSchool– focusing on FutureTech – implementing Technology as a Game Changer’. The projects entails priming up end user technology for all its’ stakeholders and primarily students.
Taking resonance of future technology, WeSchool was an early mover in the technology space launching Post Graduate Diploma Management in e-business in 2001. WeSchool has consistently demonstrated its’ pioneering spirit by introducing Emerging Technologies across programs in 2019 and delivered it online in 2020, focusing on developing hands on skills for non-IT students.
Fine tuning a culture of digital innovation on campus, WeSchool is among the few B-Schools that has institutionalized hackathons. By hosting and participating in hackathons for over seven years, it has encouraged student participation across non-IT streams too.
Speaking on the latest win, Adv. Shri. S. K. Jain, Chairman – Managing Council, & Chairman – College Development Committee, S. P. The institute endeavors to groom learners in higher education with future technology relevant courses.”
