Prin. L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai invites applications for the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) in the following subject:
PH.D. IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES
Date and Time of Entrance Test : - Sunday, April 21, 2013 Time : 10:00am to 1:00pm
Starting Date for Sale of Application Form : April 5, 2013
Last date for acceptance of completed application form : - April 12, 2013 upto 5pm
Application forms are available from the office of the Institute's Research Centre (WDRC) from 05-04-2013 to 12-04-2013 on payment of Rs. 10/- or the same may be downloaded from the institute's website without cost from April 5, 2013.

Eligibility: - As per the Ordinances 0.5473, 0.5476 of the University of Mumbai as mentioned in the VCD No. Exam / Thesis / Univ/VCD/2414 of 2010
Registration fees along with Application Form: A Demand Draft in the name of "Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research" of Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 500/- for Reserve Category as mentioned in the VCD.
Photocopies (Duly attested) of the following documents must be submitted along with completed Application Form and 2 Passport size Photographs:
Appropriate mark list and degree certificate
Appropriate cast certificates (for getting relief in form fee for PET)
Aptitude test certificate (wherever applicable)
Syllabus for the Entrance Test: The various topics included in the compulsory / core papers at Post Graduate Degree Level Programme in Master of Management Studies or other relevant management subjects.
Exemption from test: As mentioned in clause No. 9 of said VCD, the Exempted candidates shall submit their application on or before 12-04-2013 directly to the concerned research centre as per clause No. 11.1 (a) In case of any doubt candidate may directly contact to Prof. Dr. P. S. Rao - Head, Welingkar Doctoral Research Centre(WDRC), Mumbai.
  The Ph.D. course work is mandatory except for those who have been granted exemption as per U.G.C. rules and regulations which are mentioned in the VCD No. / Thesis / Univ/VCD/2414 of 2010 dated 18th November, 2010.
